The winners from the UNWE in the national competition Student of the Year - Elena Tarakova and Rositsa Toneva - had the privilege to attend the Rector's Council and to be also greeted by the Rector's Leadership.
The Rector Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov greeted the distinguidhed students with the words: "We are proud of you and delighted that our students win the top prizes among 52 other universities. It shows that the young people who study at the UNWE are talented and constantly developing".
Prof. Dimitrov awarded to students the encyclopedia Prime Ministers, Ministers and Senior Representatives of the Legislative Power - UNWE Lecturers and Alumni and wished them to find their places in the encyclopedia.

The students expressed their thankfulness for the honour and recognition saying that it had been a privilege for them to contribute to the prestige of UNWE with their achievements.

Elena Tarakova, 4th year student of speciality Accounting won the prize in the category Economic Sciences. Rositsa Toneva, 5th year student of speciality Law was distinguished in the category Legal Sciences.
