ENGAGE.EU Cup`21 – the 1st International Online Team Speed Chess Tournament in the university network ENGAGE.EU - European University was held during the Week of UNWE. The Rector of UNWE Prof. Dimitar Dimitrov and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mihail Musov, Vice-Rector for Research and International Cooperation, welcomed the participants in the tournament and wished them success.

The winner with a score of 9/9 was the international master of chess Lev Jankelevich from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. The competitors of UNWE ranked from the second to the fourth place as follows: 2nd place for Petar Todorov with 8/9 points; 3rd place for Velizar Sofranov with 7/9 points; 4th place for Nikolay Boshnakov with 6.5 / 9 points.

The other representatives of UNWE ranked 6th respectively - Anton Slaveykov; 8th place - Kostadin Vachev; 32nd place - Ilina Tosheva and 37th place - Miryana Stefanova.
