On 21st May of the current year - the day on which was marked a century from the establishment of UNWE, the head of state Rumen Radev decreed the Badge of Honour of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria to be awarded to the UNWE.
The high distinction is conferred on the University of National and World Economy "on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of its establishment, for high achievements in the education of professionals in the field of economic, political, administrative, information and social sciences as well as for its contribution to raising the quality of higher education in the Republic of Bulgaria”.
