The final stage of the 20th National Competition in Accountancy for Secondary School Pupils was held on 1 December of the current year in the Large Conference Hall.

The National Competition is organized jointly by the UNWE, Association of Economic Schools in Bulgaria (AESB), United Editorial Office for Books and Periodicals “Thought” and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPA).
In the Competition took part hundreds of candidates from the secondary schools-members of AESB and from other schools non-members of it but only forty six secondary school pupils reached the final stage.
Prof. Dr. Daniela Feschiyan, Deputy Chairwoman of AESB and Deputy Head of the Accountancy and Analysis Department opened the National Competition and introduced the participants. She expressed thankfulness to the teachers for the good preparation and high results of their pupils and determined the ranking for the final stage of the Competition as a kind of success for the competitors.
Prof. Dr. Snezhana Basheva greeted the secondary school pupils and expressed confidence in their successful results and ranking for students at the Finance and Accountancy Faculty (in the picture below).

Twenty four pupils are ranked at the first five places. According to the Competition regulation their results are recognized as successfully passed prospective student examination in the subfield of Finance, Accountancy and Control for the academic year 2019-2020.
