Memorandum of Cooperation between the UNWE and the Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies

The Rector of UNWE Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Statty Stattev and Prof. Godfrey Pirotta, Chairman of the Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies (MEDAC) - University of Malta signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the presence of the Bulgarian President Rumen Radev and Maltese President Marie Louise Coleiro Preca (in the pictures below). At the ceremony in the National Art Gallery attended ministers, deputies, diplomats, etc.

The Memorandum of Cooperation provisions for the UNWE and MEDAC to exchange academic programmes and scientific research publications as well as students and lecturers, to organize seminars with the participation of lecturers from both institutions, etc.

The Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies (MEDAC) - Univeristy of Malta was established in 1990. It prepares diplomats in cooperation with universities in Switzerland and Germany and implements joint Master`s degree programme with George Mason University, USA, etc.

Malta has been a member of the EU since 2004 and it is the smallest country in the Union. It has also been a member of the Eurozone since 2008 and member of the Schengen Area - since 2007.
