At the invitation of Momchil Nekov, Member of the European Parliament and graduate of UNWE, students from the Law Faculty took part in Round Table Conference in the European Parliament on the Role of Social Entrepreneurship in Support of Local Societies.

In the Round Table Conference participated H.E. M. Dobreva, Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Belgium, P. Klein, General Directorate GROW Unit, Entrepreneurship and Social Economy at European Commission, Prof. Dr. N. Denchev from the Free University of Brussels, Chief Assist. Dr. Iv. Beev, Scientific Secretary of the Economics Department, L. Kolevsky, pedagogue at Louis Braille Specialized School of pupils with impaired vision - Sofia, representatives of the business, developers of specialized software for people with visual problems (colour blindness).

The priorities of Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU one of which is the social inclusion were presented during the Forum. Arrangements for widening and improvement of the access of students with visual problems to the educational services at the UNWE were made. By the support of Nekov for the needs of educational process at the UNWE it is provided the grant of several software products: voice reproducing programme (for blind students or persons with impaired vision), specific settings for consumers of software products with visual problems, publication of specialized Braille alphabet textbooks.
