The sportsmen from the UNWE and their coaches-lecturers ranked the university at prize places in the six days competition for the sixth edition of Summer University Games Kamchiya 2017.
The UNWE won the second place among the ten participating universities as the first place was won by the Technical University of Sofia. The winner had 70 sportsmen and coaches, teams in all kinds of sport which played a decisive role for the ranking.
Despite the reduced number of representatives in our delegation – 26 students and six teams our university succeeded to win four champion awards: basketball 3x3 – men and women, volleyball – women, swimming – men.

Our male volleyball team and female swimming team took a worthy part in the competition. In the beach baton composed by competitors in various kinds of sport the UNWE achieved again very good results.
