For the eighth consecutive time the Entrepreneurship Department and the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (IED) at UNWE jointly with the Bulgarian Association for Management Development and Entrepreneurship (BAMDE) and the European Council of Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ECSB) organized an International Conference on the International Entrepreneurship: Trends, Challenges, Achievements. The Forum was held in the period of 6 – 9 June in St. St. Constantine and Helena Resort Complex.

In the Conference frameworks were held several seminars. Leading lecturer at the Seminar on the Ten Tricks of Effective Interaction for Owners of Small Business was Prof. Ken O`Neil, Honorary Professor in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development of the Ulster University, UK, the first British who won the Queen's Award for Enterprise Promotion – award for outstanding contribution to British enterprise, former President of the International Council of Small Business (ICSB). Leading lecturer at the Seminar for Doctoral students on How to Prepare a Dissertation Thesis and How to Publish in Reputable Magazines in the Field of Entrepreneurship was Prof. David Smallbone and at the Seminar on Managerial Systems and Consulting – Prof. Eric Flamholtz.
