Annual Assembly of The Center for Economic Historical Research

In Gabrovo it was held the regular Annual Session of General Assembly of the Center for Economic Historical Research (CEHR) whose founders and major members are the lecturers from the Economic History Section at Political Economy Department of UNWE Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lilyana Veleva, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pencho Penchev, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Evgeny Kostov, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marko Dimitrov, Dr. Petar Stoyanov and Doctoral student Rositsa Zlatinska.

Members of the Center which was established three years ago are also lecturers from five other universities, scientists from the Bulgarian Academy of Science (BAN) and representatives of three regional museums.

The participants in the Forum made the decision to implement the Second National Conference on the Diversity of Bulgarian Economic Historical Development in the autumn and to start working on the compilation of bibliography entitled Bulgarian Economic Historical Literature.

Prof. Marko Dimitrov (UNWE), Prof. Petko Petkov (VTU), Prof. Ivan Rusev (EU – Varna), Prof. Milko Palangursky (VTU), Dr. Petar Stoyanov (UNWE), Assoc. Prof. Lilyana Veleva (UNWE)

It was established the award for contribution in the field of economic history which is conferred by the CEHR biennially. Its statute and mechanism for nominating will be published in the CEHR website.

In the end of 2016 was printed the first volume of the Bulletin of Center for Economic Historical Research – Urban Economy in Bulgarian Lands over the Centuries.
