The lecturer specified that in fact it had been a model of a project having geo-strategical importance oriented to a change in the system of international relations and its reformation, to the new place of China and its vision for political and economic cooperation with the other countries in the region and in the world. The reformation starts from the fact that the current system of international relations which can be conditionally called Pax Americana has searched for a new balanced status, pointed out Assoc. Prof. Chankov and commented on the American positions and strategies for transition as well as on the new era in the international relations. He examined the traditional views of George Cannon, the concept for “The End of History” by Francis Fukuyama and its opponents. Assoc. Prof. Chankov determined the supporting points in the assessment of international system and its direction positioning the role of the world institutions, economic factors and the military budget of the USA. He gave lots of examples in order to examine the regulations in the world relation, ratio of powers as well as the “alternative for China”, tactical cooperation, formation of the Eurasian Economic Union, Chinese strategy at internal and international level.
