Over the last century the International Business School has approved as an authoritative academic institution and inseparable part of the Bulgarian university family. These were the words that the Rector of UNWE and Deputy Chairman of the Rectors Council in the Republic of Bulgaria Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Statty Stattev began his greeting speech at the ceremony on the occasion of 25th Anniversary of the establishment of International Business School (IBS).

In his greeting address to Lena Gaydarska, President of IBS and to Prof. Dr. Ruslan Penchev, Rector of IBS, Prof. Stattev outlined that the International Business School had become an attractive center for the young people due to the dedicated efforts, striving for improvement of academic process, honesty and devotion to the values of higher education and science and relation with the business and significant foreign partners.
