By the initiative of the Finance and Accountancy Faculty of UNWE and personally by Prof. Dr. Snezhana Basheva, Dean of the Finance and Accountancy Faculty and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Silvia Trifonova from the Finance Department on 9 May it was concluded a Framework Agreement of Cooperation between the UNWE and Ivestor.BG JSC (joint-stock company). The document was signed by the Rector of the university Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Statty Stattev and Georgy Biserinsky, Executive Director of Investor.BG.

The Agreement was concluded on the remarkable historical date when the grounds of today`s European Union have been set by the signing of the Declaration of the French Minister Robert Schuman 66 years ago.
The Framework Agreement includes a wide range of bilateral cooperation – informing the students for the internship programmes and work positions at the company, mutual exchange of information and publications, implementation of important scientific, academic, business and other kind of events as well as joint educational, research and practically applied projects.
Both parties will cooperate in the organization of joint scientific events such as public lectures, youth seminars as well as the traditional annual International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists entitled the Economy of Bulgaria and the Economy of the European Union.

In the current year the Conference will be devoted to the fundamental relation “science - business” and it will be held on 11 November at the UNWE in co-organization with Investor.BG. Universities-partners of the Conference are: University of Finance, Business and Entrepreneurship, Sofia, University of Bologna, Italy, Lutz University of Economics and Trade, Ukraine, University of Split, Economics Faculty, Republic of Croatia.
The UNWE and Investor.BG will cooperate also in the participation of representatives of the company in presentations to students, lectures, seminars, conferences, meetings and other events organized by the university. The Framework Agreement of Cooperation is highly appreciated and it has significant importance for both parties.
