Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emilia Georgieva, Deputy Head of the Economics Department visited the University of Florence, Italy and gave a lecture on the Opportunities for Doing Business in Bulgaria. Her lecture was implemented on the basis of the lecturer mobility on the Erasmus programme.

Traditionally, students answered ten questions in an opening test and the most difficult of them turned out the ones about the relationship between Bulgaria and the Basilica “San Clemente” in Rome.

The lecture of Assoc. Prof. Georgieva included a presentation, discussion on specific aspects of the examined issue as well as a visual representation of actual information about Bulgaria, Italy and the European Union.

During her stay in Florence Assoc. Prof. Georgieva met with her colleagues from different Departments of the University, visited the European University Institute in Fiesole and some historical sites in the cultural capital of Italy.
