On the eve of 1 November, the Day of the National Enlighteners, at a solemn ceremony in Maxima Aula the Rector Dr. Prof. Dimitar Dimitrov awarded the certificates to the lecturers held the academic positions of Professor and Associate Professor as well as to the lecturers acquired the scientific degree of Doctor of Sciences in the period December 2022 - October 2023.

We have juries with high requirements that insist on quality and high academic standards. It is difficult to become a doctor, associate professor and professor at UNWE, so I greet all who receive their certificates on this solemn day. This is a testimony to your academic growth and at the same time an expression of the university's endeavour to create enlighteners who will shape the future of Bulgarian science, economy and society. 25 academic representatives received their certificates. Eleven of them are the lecturers who have defended the academic position of Professor, twelve - Associate Professor and two of them have acquired the scientific degree of Doctor of Sciences.

Assoc. Prof. D.Sc. Mihail Musov, Vice Rector for Research and International Affairs and Assoc. Prof. D.Sc. Irena Markova have acquired the scientific degree of Doctor of Sciences.
Assoc. Prof. D.Sc. Irena Markova was absent at the ceremony so she will receive her certificate additionally.
